Hillside Stone Villas
Kefalonia, Greece
This development comprises three villas arranged along a sloping hillside above the Ionian Sea. The project is conceived as a series of low, stone-clad volumes that follow the natural contours of the terrain, minimizing intervention while maximizing views.
Each residence is organized across terraced levels, with living spaces opening onto shaded verandas and outdoor platforms. The design balances openness toward the landscape with privacy between neighboring units.
Locally sourced stone, timber pergolas, and minimal glazing define a restrained material palette, allowing light and texture to shape the architectural experience.
Landscape and architecture are closely integrated, with retaining walls, paths, and planting extending the built language into the site.
