Abstracted forms—barns, kiosks, and market stalls—are reinterpreted as architectural elements that organize program and guide circulation. Overhead timber structures establish rhythm and scale, while maintaining visual continuity across the space.
A restrained material palette, centered on oak wood and neutral finishes, creates a warm and cohesive environment. Layered lighting enhances both product visibility and atmosphere.
The result is a retail environment that balances clarity and richness—transforming everyday shopping into a more engaging and social experience.
This project repositions the supermarket as a spatial and sensory experience, drawing inspiration from traditional open-air markets. The store is organized as a sequence of distinct zones rather than a continuous floor plate, encouraging movement, interaction, and discovery.
